Non e un Ciao Ragazzi

T1

T1’s Italian option sits mid-terminal

Gate-side in Terminal T1, Non e un Ciao Ragazzi is one of the few full-menu sit-down spots before the higher 100s gates. Signage shows a straightforward Italian menu: pizza, pastas, salads, desserts, and coffee. It’s airside, so you can walk here after clearing security for any Copa or Star Alliance flight leaving from T1.

Menu boards typically run individual pizzas and pasta plates in the mid-range for PTY, roughly in the USD 12–20 band depending on toppings and add-ons. Portions lean European rather than US-chain huge, which works fine if your next leg is 5–7 hours toward North America or Europe. Expect bottled water and soft drinks at standard airport pricing, in the USD 3–5 range.

Service pace at Non e un Ciao Ragazzi lines up with the rest of PTY T1: figure 10–20 minutes from order to table for a margherita pizza or basic pasta, longer if they’re turning over a full dining room before a bank of Copa departures. There’s table service plus a visible bar area where you can grab a quick beer or wine by the glass before a late-evening departure.

The kitchen leans hard into simple classics: tomato-and-mozzarella pizzas, basic alfredo or pomodoro pastas, and a few meat options like chicken or prosciutto add-ons. If you’re tight on time, stick to pizza or salads; anything more complex than a single-topping pie has a better chance of slowing you down when three widebodies to the US push at the same 22:00 bank.

Non e un Ciao Ragazzi opens through the main daytime and evening banks in T1, typically covering flights from the early afternoon Copa runs through late-night long-hauls. Don’t plan on using it as a 05:00 breakfast stop; morning departures around 06:00–07:00 usually outpace the kitchen coming fully online. Practical play: check your gate, then sit here only if you have 45 minutes or more before boarding starts.
