Footlongs in NITB before your PNQ security wait

Subway sits inside Pune’s New Integrated Terminal Building (NITB), after check-in but before you head to your specific gate. It’s one of the few recognizable global chains in PNQ, so if you want something predictable before a late-night domestic departure, this is the safest bet. Expect typical India Subway pricing, with a 6-inch veg sub usually coming in around ₹200–₹250 and non-veg closer to ₹250–₹300.

The counter runs with the standard Subway line-up: Veggie Delite, Aloo Patty, Paneer Tikka, and Chicken Slice on the usual breads like Italian and Multigrain. Sauces are the familiar set too: Southwest, Mint Mayo, Chipotle, and Honey Mustard. You can get basic toasties and cookies as well, which helps if you just want a quick snack before a short hop to Mumbai or Bengaluru.

Service speed tracks directly to flight waves at PNQ. Around the 22:00–01:00 domestic bank, the queue can hit 10–15 people and a made-to-order sub might take 10 minutes. Midday, you can often be in and out in under 5 minutes. Seating is limited in this part of NITB, so plan to carry your sandwich to a general waiting area near your gate rather than count on a table.

Drinks are mostly bottled: 500 ml water, standard sodas, and the occasional buttermilk or juice pack, usually under ₹80–₹100. Combos with a 6-inch sub, drink, and cookie typically price out cheaper than buying each item separately, so ask for combo pricing if you’re feeding two people before a family flight.

Tip: Build in at least 15 extra minutes at Subway if you’re flying in the late-night rush from PNQ NITB; order a 6-inch instead of a footlong if boarding time is under 30 minutes.
