250 INR gets you started at Barbeque Nation’s NITB outlet
Inside Pune’s NITB terminal after security, Barbeque Nation runs a compact airport version of its city grills, with mains typically starting around 250–300 INR. It sits landside-facing the main domestic departure seating, so you can keep an eye on flights from the nearby FIDS screens while you eat.
Service usually runs from early-morning departures through late-night banks, roughly 06:00 to 23:00, but menus skew strongly to lunch and dinner. This is a counter-service setup, not the full-table-grill experience you get at their city outlets, so food comes plated from the kitchen in 10–15 minutes, useful if boarding starts at T–30.
Expect familiar Barbeque Nation staples in airport form: chicken tikka, malai kebab, paneer skewers, dal, naan, and basic desserts. Portions lean smaller than in-town branches; a kebab plate plus bread and a soft drink can sit in the 450–600 INR range. It’s still one of the few spots in PNQ where you get a proper Indian meal instead of just sandwiches and pastries.
Drinks run from bottled water at around 40–60 INR to soft drinks and limited mocktails. Alcohol availability can shift with local rules, so don’t bank on beer with your tikka on late-night domestic flights. Takeaway boxes are common; staff usually pack a combo in under 5 minutes if you’re tight on time.
Tip: check your boarding gate first; NITB gates can involve a 5–10 minute walk from the central food area, so place your order only after you’re sure your gate hasn’t changed on the screens right opposite the restaurant.
