PGF T1’s maps list an “Electronics Store,” but it doesn’t exist

In Perpignan’s single terminal T1, travellers report no actual electronics shop, despite some airport materials mentioning an “Electronics Store.” Regulars say the only retail inside security is Tribb’s, which mainly sells snacks, drinks, and basic travel items, not chargers or headphones.

Past security in T1 at Perpignan-Rivesaltes, Tribb’s doubles as the convenience stand and gift shop, and reviewers on AirlineQuality specifically complain there’s nowhere to buy phone chargers, headphones, or adapters. SleepingInAirports lists only Tribb’s plus an ATM and mailbox, with zero reference to any tech-focused retail.

Prices at similar French regional airports put basic USB cables around €10–€15 and power banks around €20–€40, but at PGF you can’t count on even that; frequent flyers say they buy cables or power banks in town before heading out to the airport. For a 7:00 flight, that means sorting tech needs the day before, since most city shops shut by around 19:00.

  • What regulars do: Pack a fully charged power bank and at least one spare cable from home, then treat PGF as “no electronics retail,” regardless of what the terminal map says.
  • Watch out for: Short layovers under 60 minutes give you almost no margin to troubleshoot dead phones or missing chargers here, because there’s nowhere obvious to buy replacements airside.

Tip: If your charger dies on the way, try a supermarket or phone shop in Perpignan city before heading to T1; don’t rely on finding any kind of Electronics Store at the airport.
