First Class Lounge

T2

Day-pass only, Terminal 2 First Class Lounge sits landside.

This lounge is in PEK Terminal 2 and sold as a pay-in “First Class Lounge” for anyone flying from T2, not just premium cabins. It sits landside before security, so you still need to allow 20–30 minutes after leaving the lounge to clear checks and reach typical T2 gates.

Opening hours at this Terminal 2 pay-in lounge generally track the mid-morning to late-evening bank of flights, with most reports putting it open from the first departures around 06:00 until roughly 22:00. Because it is landside, it works best if you reach the airport early from downtown Beijing and want a seat, Wi‑Fi, and a drink before heading into the main security queues.

Access is by walk-up payment at the T2 First Class Lounge desk, with pricing usually quoted per person for a fixed block of time, often 2–4 hours. Check the posted RMB rate at the door; some agents also accept selected Chinese bank cards or lounge programs, but do not count on Priority Pass or DragonPass without confirming the exact logo on the counter.

Food in this Terminal 2 First Class Lounge usually means basic buffet trays: simple Chinese hot dishes at meal times, snacks like instant noodles, and limited fruit. Expect self-serve soft drinks and tea, with beer sometimes offered in bottles or cans. If you want western fast food, you will still find better options in the main T2 concourse after security near gates and public restaurants.

Seating runs along a single main room with standard armchairs and small side tables, and power outlets can be hit-or-miss by seat row. Wi‑Fi uses the airport’s PEK network or a lounge-specific login, and you may need to scan your passport or local phone number at a terminal to get a code, which is common across Beijing Capital International Airport.

Most passengers use this T2 First Class Lounge simply to sit somewhere quieter than the public check-in hall and to charge devices for an hour or two. Because it is landside, you will still queue with everyone else for security, and there is no separate fast track lane connected directly to the lounge.

Practical tip: plan your exit from the Terminal 2 First Class Lounge at least 45 minutes before boarding time, giving 10–15 minutes to settle your bill and reach security and another 20–30 minutes to clear checks and walk to common T2 gates.
