Think of it as the backup option when P1 looks jammed or the entry ramp queue is too long.
This lot serves Terminal 1 departures and arrivals only, since OTP currently runs on a single terminal setup. P2 is in the same forecourt zone as P1, so you follow the same airport parking signs, then peel off into the outdoor short-stay section instead of the covered structure. It’s best for stops under a couple of hours, like meeting an incoming flight or dropping someone for a Wizz Air, TAROM, or Ryanair departure.
Pricing tracks P1 short-term rates in the first hours, with charges calculated by the hour rather than per day, so running inside “just for 10 minutes” can still cost you a full 60‑minute block. P2 usually has more open spaces than the primary garage, especially in daytime off-peaks between roughly 11:00 and 16:00, when morning banks have cleared.
