P1 Short-Term Parking

Short-stay

Second level of the P1 garage is where Uber/Bolt actually meet you

P1 Short-Term Parking sits directly in front of Terminal 1 at OTP, about a 1‑minute walk from the arrivals doors. It’s a multi-level, short-stay garage, not a long‑term option, and pricing is geared to quick drop‑offs, pickups, or an hour or two inside the terminal. For multi‑day trips, regulars park in the distant long‑term lots instead and treat P1 as a covered curb.

Most app rides (Uber, Bolt, and some pre‑booked taxis) tell you to meet on the second level of the parking garage, directly opposite the terminal exit. You walk straight out of arrivals, cross the short access road, and take the ramp or elevator up one level to meet your driver. This avoids the main curb, which can jam up heavily at peak evening departures from around 18:00 to 22:00.

As a short-stay facility, P1 charges much more per hour than the outer car parks, so it adds up fast if you leave a car for half a day or longer. Treat it like a 15–90 minute option: quick run inside to meet someone off a Wizz Air or TAROM flight, or wait out a delay with your car under cover instead of circling the access roads. No need to factor in shuttle time; you’re already at Terminal 1.

What regulars do: tell their Uber or Bolt to pick up on the “second level parking, in front of the terminal,” then stand by the elevator exit so the driver can spot them quickly. They only pull a ticket and park if they expect to be inside more than 10–15 minutes. Tip: if arrivals is chaos, head straight to level 2 of P1 and message your exact section or pillar number to your driver.
