Havsalt barely shows up in OSL food guides, but it’s right in Terminal T
Havsalt sits airside in Oslo Airport’s Terminal T, close enough to the international gates that you can eat and still make a boarding call in under 5 minutes. It’s a standard sit-down spot with table service, so plan at least 35–40 minutes if you want more than a quick drink or a single dish.
Menu pricing lines up with typical OSL levels: expect around NOK 180–230 for a main course and NOK 60–70 for coffee or soft drinks. You’ll see Nordic-leaning café food alongside safer options like burgers and salads, so it works for mixed groups who don’t all want the same thing. Portions tend to be on the medium side, not the huge plates you might see in the US or UK.
Havsalt keeps the usual airport hours, opening early enough for 06:00 departures and staying open into the evening rush toward the 20:00–21:00 bank of flights. That makes it a realistic option if you land from a domestic leg into T and have 90 minutes before a Schengen or non-Schengen connection. It’s fully post-security, so you can stay in gate mode and watch the departure boards while you eat.
There’s alcohol on the menu, with beer and wine typically in the NOK 100–130 range per glass. That’s normal by Norwegian standards, even if it feels steep coming from elsewhere in Europe. Service pace tracks volume: during the 07:00–09:00 and 16:00–18:00 peaks, build in a 10-minute buffer for ordering and paying.
Tip: if your time at gate is under 30 minutes, skip a full meal at Havsalt and just grab a drink or snack here, then pick up something faster from a nearby kiosk in Terminal T.
