Aquavit Bar

Aquavit Bar barely shows up in Oslo Airport trip reports

Yet it sits in Terminal T airside at OSL, serving drinks and light bites to passengers who have already cleared security. If you’re past duty free and have 30–40 minutes before boarding, this is one of the few spots designed around Norwegian aquavit instead of generic beer taps.

The bar focuses on spirits, with multiple aquavit labels by the shot and in mixed drinks that typically land in the NOK 120–160 range. Beer and standard wines sit slightly cheaper, roughly in the NOK 90–130 bracket. Food is limited: think small bar snacks and simple plates rather than a full meal, and expect airport pricing that runs above central Oslo by a noticeable margin.

Seats are barstools and a handful of nearby tables, so it feels more like a quick-stay spot than a place to camp out for three hours with a laptop. There’s usually decent sightlines to nearby departure boards, handy if your gate changes to A, B, or C at the last minute. Power outlets exist but not at every seat, so don’t bank on charging a dead phone during a short sit.

Staff pour aquavit neat or in basic cocktails; if you’re curious, ask for a classic dill-forward style versus a barrel-aged version and taste the difference side by side. Expect a 10–15 minute stop if you’re only after a single dram, and 25–30 minutes if you want time for a second round and the bill without rushing to gate C6 or D10.

Use Aquavit Bar as a targeted stop: plan one drink here to sample a specifically Norwegian spirit, then move toward your gate and grab a more substantial meal elsewhere in Terminal T if you’re hungry.
