Hudson Coffee sits in Terminal T1 at Gold Coast Airport, close enough to security that you can grab a takeaway flat white and still make a boarding call without stress. It’s a standard Australian café setup: espresso machine front and centre, a fridge with bottled drinks, and a counter of pastries and pre-made food you can point at when you’re half-awake.

Expect the usual Hudson lineup of espresso drinks, with sizes running from a small takeaway cup up to the larger “keep you awake for SYD–OOL–MEL” size. Prices land in typical airport territory, so budget a few extra dollars over what you’d pay at a suburban Gold Coast shop. If you don’t want coffee, you can usually fall back on tea, hot chocolate, or cold soft drinks from the fridge.

Food leans on quick service items: toasted sandwiches, banana bread slices, muffins, and other cabinet snacks that staff can heat and hand over in a couple of minutes. Because there’s no table service, you order at the counter, wait on the nearby floor markings, and walk out with everything on a tray or in a paper bag. It’s all built around getting you back to Gate 1–9 territory fast.

Opening hours track the flight banks through T1, so Hudson Coffee tends to open early for the first departures and wind down once the late evening services clear. On quieter mid-day periods, expect shorter queues; just before morning flights to Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane push out, the line can easily add 5–10 minutes before your name is called.

Practical tip: if your boarding pass shows a T1 gate at the far end of the pier, grab your coffee at Hudson before heading down the concourse; backtracking 5–10 minutes for a second caffeine run usually isn’t worth it once the boarding screen flips to “Final.”
