Staff Parking

Employee lot

Staff parking sits on the north side of NUE

Staff Parking at Nuremberg Airport is an employee-only car park on the north side of Terminal 1, not offered to the general public. Access is controlled by staff ID or pre-registered license plate, so you can’t book this lot through standard airport parking portals or on arrival at the barrier.

The lot is set up for long-term employee use, with spaces allocated for staff working in and around T1 at Nuremberg Airport. If you’re flying from NUE as a passenger and looking for parking, this is not the right facility; you’ll need one of the public car parks such as P1, P2, or other signed visitor lots instead.

Staff Parking typically sits closer to staff entrances than the regular passenger garages, giving employees a shorter walk to secure doors in Terminal 1. For visitors, though, using this lot would mean access issues at the gate and a likely fine or tow if you somehow got inside without the correct permit.

Signage on the airport approach roads clearly marks Staff Parking separately from public car parks, with “Mitarbeiter” (staff) signs at the turnoff. If you’re following GPS, double-check the destination name so you don’t end up at the staff entrance instead of the public multistory garages near T1 departures.

Tip: When driving to NUE, follow signs for P1, P2, or other numbered public car parks and ignore any “Mitarbeiterparkplatz / Staff Parking” signs unless you actually work at the airport.
