Business Parking

Premium short-stay

50 meters from T1, this is NUE’s pay‑more, park‑closer option

Business Parking at Nuremberg Airport sits directly in front of Terminal 1, so walking time to check-in is usually under 2 minutes even with a roller bag. It’s a premium short-stay zone, meant for quick trips, client pickups, or dropping the car right by departures when time matters more than price.

This car park is inside the airport grounds, immediately opposite the main T1 entrance doors, so you stay fully airside-adjacent and avoid shuttle buses. It’s signed as “Business Parking” on approach roads, right after the standard short-term parking signs, so look for the name specifically if you don’t want to end up in the regular garage.

Pricing runs higher than the regular short-stay lots, with a clear step-up once you cross the 1–2 hour mark, so it makes the most sense for stays measured in minutes and a few hours, not days. If you’re planning a weekend away from NUE, long-stay or standard parking will be far cheaper than leaving the car here from Friday to Sunday.

Entry works via standard ticket machine at the barrier, with payment at the pay stations near T1 arrivals or at the exit lane. The layout focuses on quick in-and-out traffic, so you avoid long entry ramps and multi-level spirals. Spaces are marked for standard passenger cars; oversized vans or high-roof vehicles fit better in the main car park further back.

Primary use cases here: drop-offs where you want to walk inside and help with bags, short business trips from T1, and pickups where you expect delays at baggage claim. If your pickup is running late, moving the car to regular short-term after the first hour can save a chunk of money.

Tip: If your meeting at NUE runs over 60 minutes, set a timer at 45 minutes and check the Business Parking tariff board near T1 before deciding to stay or relocate to the standard car park.
