P2 Parkhaus

Short-stay garage

P2 Parkhaus sits directly opposite Terminal 1 at NUE

P2 Parkhaus is the short-stay multi-storey garage right across from Terminal 1 at Nuremberg Airport, so you walk to check-in in roughly 2–4 minutes. It’s fully covered parking, useful in winter or summer heat. This one is aimed at drop-offs, pick-ups and trips of a few days rather than long holidays.

The garage operates 24/7 in line with Nuremberg Airport flight schedules, so late arrivals on the last Eurowings or early departures on 06:00 flights are fine. Entry uses standard barrier tickets at the gate, and you pay at the machines in the terminal or inside the garage before exiting. Keep the ticket handy; losing it triggers the full-day replacement fee at the pay station.

As a short-stay option, P2 Parkhaus usually carries a higher hourly and daily rate than the more distant long-term car parks like P7 or P31. It suits parking runs of a few hours for meeting an arriving flight or a 1–3 day business trip through T1. If you plan a 1–2 week holiday, check the price tables on-site; at that length P2 can easily cost significantly more than the outdoor long-term lots.

Access uses the same approach roads as the terminal: follow signs for “P2 Parkhaus” once you turn onto Flughafenstraße toward Nuremberg Airport. Clearance is limited like a typical multi-storey garage, so high vans or vehicles with roof boxes may not fit; confirm the posted height at the entrance ramp. Stalls are marked and lit, but rows close to the pedestrian exit toward T1 fill first during weekday mornings.

Tip: If you’re just picking someone up, park on a lower level near the pedestrian bridge and check the arrival time on the T1 screens before you pay, so you don’t add an extra paid hour by misjudging the landing time.
