P-5

Short stay

1,570円 per day puts P-5 in the short-stay sweet spot

P-5 sits right next to the passenger terminal buildings at Narita, so you park and walk instead of waiting on a shuttle. It’s classed as a short-stay car park, better for trips of a few hours up to a couple of days than for a two-week holiday. If you’re dropping family at T1 or T2 and want to walk them in, P-5 keeps the car close without paying premium curbside rates.

The posted daily rate is 1,570円, so a 3-day stop runs 4,710円 before any seasonal changes. For just a few hours, you usually pay less than the daily cap, making it workable for long check-ins or meeting an arriving flight that might be delayed. At around this price point, P-5 often beats a taxi to NRT for groups of two or more, especially if you’re coming from nearby Chiba or eastern Tokyo.

Being next to the terminals cuts transfer time down to roughly 5–10 minutes on foot, depending on which part of T1, T2, or T3 you’re heading to. That’s a big step up over the 10–20 minutes you can burn waiting and riding on remote-lot buses. Short walk also means less stress if your incoming highway traffic on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway or Shin-Kuko Expressway runs slow and you’re tight on departure time.

The lot’s “short stay” label matters most for cost beyond a few days; longer trips often pencil out cheaper in one of Narita’s remote or off-airport options. If you’re parking more than four or five days, run the math before committing to P-5. Best move: book flights first, then compare your exact trip length against P-5’s 1,570円 daily rate and a cheaper long-term lot.
