Accessible Parking

Five-minute walk from Narita’s terminals

Accessible Parking at Narita International Airport sits next to the terminal buildings, so the walk into T1, T2, or T3 runs about 5 minutes on foot. Spaces are marked for passengers with disabilities and those dropping off or picking up someone who needs shorter walking distances.

These accessible bays sit in the closest section of the terminal car parks, usually on the same level as the main entrance doors, which cuts out lifts and long ramps. For T1, you’re right by the central building; for T2 and T3, follow the blue disability symbols on the approach roads and electronic signs to the nearest block.

Parking charges follow the standard terminal parking rates for Narita, with hourly pricing for short stays and capped daily rates if you end up staying longer than planned. If you only need 30–60 minutes to assist someone to check-in or baggage claim, the cost generally stays in the low four-figure yen range, similar to other on-airport short-stay options.

Accessible spaces sit within the main multi-storey and surface lots that are all post-toll-gate, so you do not pass back through any security or inspection when walking into the terminal. Most bays are sized wider than regular spaces, with room for ramps or lifts from the side of the vehicle, which helps if you’re loading mobility aids or medical equipment.

Staffed payment machines and help points sit beside the main exits of each car park, typically within 50–100 meters of the accessible section. If you need assistance or a wheelchair from Narita, you still book that through your airline at least 48 hours before departure; the airline then coordinates airport support to meet you near the terminal entrance closest to Accessible Parking.

Practical tip: add 10 extra minutes to the 5‑minute walk so you have slack for lifts and check-in queues at T1, T2, or T3.
