P4 Parking

Economy surface lot

P4 sits furthest from T1 but keeps the daily cost down

P4 Parking is the airport’s economy surface lot, set a bit farther from Terminal 1 than P1–P3 but priced below the terminal-side garages. It’s an uncovered lot, so you’re trading shade and ultra-short walks for lower day-to-day rates. Entry and exit use the same ticketing system as the other NGO car parks, with automated gates and payment machines.

Standard parking fees at Chubu Centrair start in 30-minute blocks, then cap at a daily maximum that’s lower in P4 than the closer options. That makes P4 the better fit for trips of several days or longer, when the savings stack up. You pay at machines near the pedestrian exits before driving out, using cash, IC card, or major credit cards listed on the Centrair site.

P4 connects to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 via signed pedestrian routes and shuttle access shown on the airport’s parking map. Walking time to T1 is longer than from P1–P3, so build 10–15 extra minutes into your schedule, especially with checked bags or kids in tow. If you’re catching an early-morning departure from T1, aim to park 90 minutes before check-in cutoff to avoid rushing.

P4 operates 24 hours a day, matching NGO’s round-the-clock flight schedule and late-night arrivals from hub routes. Entry can briefly back up during peak holiday periods in Japan, when families leave cars for a week or more. If you’re arriving during Golden Week, Obon, or New Year, check the airport’s live parking availability before committing to P4.

Practical tip: take a quick photo of your row marker and the nearest P4 sign as soon as you lock the car; in a large surface lot, that snapshot saves time when you land back in NGO late at night.
