30-second walk to Terminal 1: that’s P1 Parking’s draw
P1 Parking sits directly in front of Chubu Centrair’s Terminal 1, so you’re on the departures level in roughly 30–60 seconds once you leave the car. It’s a multi-story short-term garage, best for same-day and quick overnight trips where proximity beats saving a few hundred yen further out.
Rates are time-based: as of the latest Centrair chart, you pay in hourly blocks up to a daily cap, with pricing higher than the distant lots but still reasonable for 24–48 hours. Payment machines accept major credit cards and IC cards, and the system uses license plate recognition plus a ticket, so keep the paper slip handy at the exit gate.
P1 directly serves Terminal 1 (T1), which handles most full-service airlines and international flights, so it works well if you’re flying ANA, JAL, or a Star Alliance carrier. For Terminal 2 (T2) low-cost carriers, the walk from P1 can run 8–12 minutes under cover through the terminal and connecting corridors, so factor that in if you’re checking bags close to cut-off.
The garage uses a large electronic sign at the entrance showing real-time space counts by level, which helps you skip floors that are already full. Typical peak times are weekday mornings from around 7:00 to 10:00 and Sunday evenings after 18:00, when short-term drop-offs and overnight stays overlap and the lower levels fill first.
Tip: If you’re catching an early international flight before 8:00, aim to enter P1 at least 30 minutes before check-in opens so you have time to park, walk over to T1, and sort payment or forgotten items without rushing.
