Gate-side juices in T1 without wrecking your per diem
Be Juice sits post-security in Terminal T1 at MVD and runs roughly 08:00 to 19:00, so it covers most daytime departures to São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago. It’s a straight-up juice and smoothie bar, skewed healthy, with prices in the low “$” tier compared with sit-down spots in the same terminal.
The menu leans on fresh juices, yogurt-based blends, and lighter snacks; think fruit-heavy options instead of a 400 g milanesa. Exact combos rotate, but you’ll usually see classic orange and mixed-fruit options at the counter. Expect to pay noticeably less than at the full-service cafés near the main T1 food court, especially if you stick to a basic juice and skip extras.
Service runs until 19:00, so Be Juice works for mid-morning flights to GRU or late-afternoon hops to EZE, but it’s a miss for the 22:00 long-haul departures. If you need actual breakfast before an 07:30 boarding call, this spot will still be closed, so plan a backup in Montevideo city or grab something packaged from another T1 outlet after security.
Post-security placement means you clear immigration and security first, then walk toward the main departures hall in T1 and look for the small juice counter rather than a full seating area. That setup makes it easy to grab something and head straight to your gate; just keep an eye on the time since T1 can add a 5–10 minute walk depending on your gate assignment.
Tip: Hit Be Juice after security but before duty free; order a take-away juice so you’re not stuck in a café if your boarding time for, say, 18:30 gets pulled forward by 15 minutes.
