P41 sits north of MUC, about a 10–15 minute shuttle ride from Terminals 1 and 2.
P41 Parkplatz is an uncovered, long-term car park on the northern edge of Munich Airport, usually reached via the regular airport shuttle in roughly 10–15 minutes. It sits outside the main terminal complex, so plan extra time compared with the closer P20/P26 garages directly at Terminal 2.
This is an outdoor lot with standard-size bays, aimed at trips of several days or longer rather than quick drop-offs. Because it’s long-term, pricing per day is typically lower than the terminal garages, especially when you prebook online through Munich Airport’s system. Check the official booking tool for current daily and weekly rates before you drive out.
P41 serves both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 passengers, but all access involves a shuttle transfer rather than walking. The shuttle usually runs in frequent intervals during the main operating hours of the airport, so most people factor in about 30 extra minutes on top of their check-in and security time. If you have a very early departure, verify first-shuttle times when you book.
Security is basic but present: the lot is fenced and monitored as part of the airport parking network, though cars sit outdoors in full weather. In winter, plan for possible snow or frost on the car when you return, and in summer remember there is no shade. Height restrictions are more forgiving than the covered garages, so standard SUVs and wagons usually fit without an issue.
Tip: Book P41 online at least a few days before your trip; walk-up availability at peak holiday periods in Bavaria can be tight, and the prebooked rate is almost always cheaper than paying on exit.
