P2 Parkhaus

Terminal 2 close-in

2–3 minutes from Terminal 2 check-in, under the Hilton

P2 Parkhaus sits directly in front of Munich Airport Terminal 2, under the Hilton Munich Airport hotel, so you walk to check-in in about 2–3 minutes under cover. This is a multi-storey, close-in garage, not an open-air lot, and it primarily serves Terminal 2 flights on Lufthansa and other Star Alliance carriers.

The garage is open 24/7 and connects to Terminal 2 via covered walkways at multiple levels, including level 04 near departures. P2 is signed clearly from the A92 autobahn and the airport ring road, usually paired on signs with “Terminal 2” and the Hilton. Entry uses the standard ticket barriers, and most drivers pay at machines near the lifts before walking into the terminal.

Short-stay rates at P2 are among the highest at MUC, with hourly parking adding up quickly compared with remote options like P41 or P44. For several days or a week, you pay a clear premium for being this close to Terminal 2, often double or more than the outer car parks during off-peak periods. Advance online booking through Munich Airport’s system can cut that price, especially for multi-day trips.

P2 spaces are regular-width but feel tight when the garage is busy, especially on levels closer to terminal access on 03 and 04. Height limit is posted at the entrance (generally around 2.0 meters), so tall SUVs with roof boxes or vans can be an issue. If your vehicle is borderline on height, check the sign at the ramp before pulling your ticket, or divert to an open lot like P41.

Because P2 is so close to Lufthansa check-in rows at Terminal 2, it works best for early-morning departures around 06:00–08:00 or late-night arrivals after 22:00, when you don’t want a shuttle. One practical tip: aim for a mid-level floor like 05, which usually has more open bays and a direct lift to the pedestrian tunnel into the terminal, saving a few minutes with bags.
