Pre-book-only VIP Parking beside Maputo Airport terminals

VIP Parking at Maputo Airport (MPM) is the reserved option closest to the terminal zone, directly in front of Terminals A and B. Spaces are limited and aimed at drivers who want a pre-assigned spot instead of circling the public car parks. You need an advance reservation through your airline, agent, or airport contacts; this is not a drive-up lot.

This area functions as a priority section of the main terminal forecourt, so walking time to check-in in Terminal A or B is usually under 3–4 minutes. Because it sits right on the terminal frontage, it works best for short-stay, same-day returns or tight departures where every minute counts. Entry is controlled by security staff at the access point that serves both terminals.

VIP Parking is reserved and typically used by airline staff, business travellers, and protocol passengers, which keeps turnover high and congestion lower than the public surface lots. Layout is open-air with standard-sized bays, so larger SUVs may need careful positioning. Lighting is better than in some outer areas of the general parking, and there are guards on duty during flight banks tied to Terminals A and B.

Public pricing for this reserved section is usually higher than the standard terminal parking, with a premium for full-day stays; confirm the current rate per hour and per 24 hours with your airline or handler before you commit. Payment is typically handled via your booking channel rather than onsite, and receipts are issued through the same contact.

Tip: Get written confirmation of your VIP Parking reservation with the vehicle plate number at least 24 hours before arrival, then keep a printed or digital copy ready for security at the forecourt entrance in front of Terminals A/B.
