Mixup

T1

T1’s Mixup sits on the main shopping strip

On the Terminal 1 concourse at MEX, Mixup is the airport’s dedicated music, movies, and pop-culture shop. You’ll see the familiar blue signage alongside other retail before the main cluster of fast food, so it’s easy to swing through on the way to domestic gates in T1.

Mixup leans heavily into physical media: CDs, vinyl records, Blu-rays, and DVDs, including plenty of Spanish-language titles you won’t easily find in US or European airports. Prices aren’t duty free level, but mid-range for Mexico City; think around 250–400 MXN for mainstream CDs and more for special-edition vinyl.

Beyond discs, Mixup in T1 usually carries headphones, small Bluetooth speakers, and basic accessories like 3.5mm-to-USB-C dongles and charging cables. If you forgot wired earbuds for the in-seat entertainment on a long-haul Aeroméxico or international partner flight, this is one of the few spots in T1 where you can grab a brand-name pair without hunting through several tech kiosks.

Stock here shifts with current Latin and international charts, so you’ll see racks dedicated to the latest regional hits plus big global releases. That matters if you’re connecting through MEX and want a physical album as a gift from Mexico rather than another logo mug. Expect more Spanish catalog depth than at generic duty free across T1 and T2.

Hours track typical T1 traffic, often running from early-morning bank departures through late-evening flights; assume roughly 07:00–21:00, with shorter hours on very quiet days. Plan a stop on your first pass through the concourse, since Mixup is easier to reach before you get locked into a distant gate at the far end of Terminal 1.
