Gate-side basics in T2: this is the 7-Eleven stop

In Mexico City Airport’s Terminal T2, 7-Eleven fills the quick-grab gap between sit-down restaurants and pricey duty free. You’ll see the green-orange signage on the concourse level after security, close enough to walk over during a short boarding window. Think drinks, packaged snacks, and last-minute essentials at more normal convenience-store pricing than the main terminal kiosks.

Hours at 7-Eleven in T2 typically track early-morning departures and late arrivals, opening before many coffee bars and staying open later than some restaurant kitchens. Expect cold bottled water, soft drinks, and energy drinks in the coolers, plus chips, cookies, and candy you recognize from street-side branches in Mexico City. It’s a solid backup if your airline lounge in T2 is packed or short on grab-and-go food.

Payment is straightforward: standard card acceptance plus pesos, and prices usually undercut the fancier T2 specialty shops by a noticeable margin on basics like a 600 ml bottle of water or a pack of gum. You won’t find gourmet sandwiches, but you can piece together something from packaged pastries and shelf-stable items. Stock swings with flight waves, so early afternoon can mean half-empty shelves on the most popular snacks.

Last tip: use 7-Eleven in T2 to stock up on water and snacks before long Aeroméxico flights, since buy-on-board options can run out in the middle of the service cart. Grab what you need here, then head to your gate with time to spare for boarding groups to start forming.
