T2

Lacoste sits in Terminal 2 near the main shopping strip

This Lacoste in MEX Terminal T2 is a straightforward stop if you forgot a polo or need a clean travel outfit before a Mexico City meeting. Prices line up with typical Mexican mall retail, so don’t expect outlet deals, but you also won’t see wild airport markups on basics like shirts and caps.

The shop sits airside in T2, so you can walk over after clearing security for Aeroméxico and SkyTeam flights without leaving the gate area. Figure a 5–10 minute walk from most T2 gates, depending on your pier. If you’re tight on time, check the nearest departures board; if you’re boarding from a far end gate, build in at least 15 minutes round-trip.

Stock usually leans into core pieces: classic crocodile polos, logo tees, caps, and a few seasonal sneakers and bags. Sizing runs on the slimmer European side, so if you’re used to US cuts, try one size up in polos or jackets. Accessories like belts and wallets make quick gifts that actually fit in a carry-on.

Staff can process card payments in pesos or occasionally let the terminal do dynamic currency conversion; pesos almost always price out better than DCC in USD or EUR. Keep your boarding pass handy, as some terminals in MEX ask to see it during higher-security time bands. Last tip: check zipper pulls and stitching on any bag or backpack before you pay, since exchanges mid-journey are a headache.
