Overnight parking sits in the Arrivals Public Car Park at T1

This is MBJ’s only car park officially cleared for overnight parking, and it sits directly beside the Arrivals hall at Sangster International’s T1. Walk time is about 1 minute from your bay to the terminal doors, so you skip shuttles and long walks with luggage.

Pricing runs about JMD $250 per hour, capped at JMD $1,000 per day after 3 hours, then JMD $1,000 for each additional 24-hour period. There’s no separate long-stay discount, so week-long trips add up fast compared with off-airport lots or having someone drop you at Departures.

MBJ’s parking rules say overnight stays must use the Arrivals Public Car Park, so this lot effectively doubles as the on-terminal long‑term option when you want to leave the car right at the airport instead of in Lot #2. For locals doing quick overnight hops, that trade-off in price versus time usually works.

Pay stations sit in Arrivals, Departures Door 4, and inside the public car park. You take a ticket at the barrier, keep it with you, then pay at an SIA Self machine on your way back. You get about 15 minutes after payment to drive out before the system starts counting extra time again.

Watch out: MBJ posts a lost-ticket fee of roughly US$1,000, and that number shows up across multiple parking info sites. Regulars treat the ticket like a passport and never leave it in the car or loose in a bag.

Tip: snap a quick photo of your parking ticket and bay as soon as you park, then pay at the Arrivals machine on return to avoid backtracking to Departures Door 4.
