Gate A-side snack run that saves a walk to B

Right in Terminal A, Sandwiches & Cie keeps things simple: cold and hot sandwiches, drinks, and quick bites you can grab between Schengen flights at LUX. It sits airside, so you’re already through security before you see it. Expect standard airport pricing rather than city-centre bargains, but it’s still cheaper than most full-service spots in the terminal.

Food is exactly what the name says: sandwiches first. You’ll usually find classic ham-and-cheese, chicken, and veggie options, plus a few pastries and packaged snacks. Portion sizes run medium, so one sandwich works for a 60–90 minute hop to Paris, Frankfurt, or Zurich out of Terminal A. Drinks lean basic too: bottled water, soft drinks, and coffee for a quick caffeine top-up before boarding.

Service moves reasonably fast, and the counter layout suits a 10–15 minute turnaround if your boarding pass shows “go to gate” soon. Don’t expect table service or a long menu; this is a grab-and-go stop for people headed to nearby A-gates rather than a sit-down lunch before a long-haul from B.

Tip: if your flight departs from an A-gate in under 30 minutes, order something pre-made from the front of the case and skip anything that needs heating; you’ll be back at the gate in under 10 minutes that way.
