Aelia Duty-Free

A

Perfume, cigarettes and whisky all sit under one roof at Aelia Duty-Free.

This shop sits airside in Terminal A at Luxembourg-Findel, just past security and on the direct path to most Schengen gates. Shelves are stacked with the usual duty-free mix: branded fragrances, cigarettes, cigars, spirits, wines, chocolates and some travel-sized cosmetics. Prices on alcohol and tobacco generally beat downtown Luxembourg supermarket tags, especially on larger 1L spirit bottles.

Aelia Duty-Free opens early in the morning to catch the first departures and stays open through the last evening flights out of Terminal A. You can grab 1L bottles of gin, whisky or rum, multi-pack cartons of cigarettes, and mid- to high-end perfume lines from the big French and Italian houses. Expect standard European airport pricing rather than Middle East hub discounts, but there are promo tables with 2-for deals on selected spirits and skincare.

Snacks and gifts also live here: boxed chocolates, 200g–500g biscuit tins and souvenir sweets branded with Luxembourg landmarks. Travel basics run to things like 100ml toiletry minis, adaptors and a few tech accessories hanging on pegs. Payment is straightforward with cards widely accepted and contactless readers on every till. Queues can build behind one or two open registers during the 06:30–08:30 bank of flights.

One tip: if your gate is at the far end of A, shop on the walk out rather than backtracking later; you easily lose 5–10 minutes walking against the flow when boarding starts.
