Gate A area food option: Panopolis in Terminal A

Panopolis sits airside in Terminal A at Luxembourg-Findel, a few minutes’ walk from the main A-gates. It runs through the core daytime bank of departures, typically opening early morning to catch the first wave of Schengen flights and staying open into the evening. Think quick bakery-café stop more than sit-down restaurant.

Expect sandwiches, wraps, pastries, and coffee at airport-standard prices, with most grab-and-go items landing in the €5–€12 range. There’s filtered coffee, espresso drinks, soft drinks, and bottled water in the €3–€5 band. Seating is limited and close to the concourse, so you’re basically eating at gate level, not in a quiet corner.

Food skews bread-heavy: baguette sandwiches, paninis, and Viennoiserie that works for a 06:00 departure as easily as a 14:00 hop to another Schengen airport. If you want something warm, target the pressed sandwiches; if stock looks low, opt for pre-packed items from the fridge that still show the current day’s date stamp. Salad options show up, but they aren’t the main focus here.

Payments run the usual range: cards widely accepted, including contactless and mobile wallets, and euros in cash if you’re burning coins before boarding. Service cadence tracks flight waves, so at 07:30 you can see a short line and a 5–10 minute wait, while mid-afternoon often drops to walk-up timing.

Tip: stop here before heading to a remote A-gate; once you walk down to the end of Terminal A, food options thin out quickly and you’ll pay the same or more for less choice.
