APH Gatwick

Off airport parking

Cheaper than Gatwick’s on-airport Long Stay, APH is the park‑and‑ride play

APH Gatwick runs as an off-airport park-and-ride, usually undercutting Gatwick’s own Long Stay rates on a per-day price. You park at the APH compound, hand over your keys, and ride their shuttle to either North or South Terminal. This setup suits long trips of 7–14 days where saving across multiple days actually adds up.

The site operates 24 hours a day, matching Gatwick’s round-the-clock flight schedule. Shuttles run regularly through the night and daytime, typically taking around 10–15 minutes from the car park to North or South Terminal, traffic depending on the A23. Build that into your check-in timing so you’re not sweating the bag-drop cut-off.

APH is off-airport, so there’s no walking route to the North or South Terminal doors. You check in at their reception building, which is separate from the parking rows, then board a branded minibus or coach with luggage space. On return, you catch the APH shuttle from a marked stop outside your terminal; your car is brought back to a collection lane before you arrive.

Pricing is dynamic, but the saving over official Long Stay can be noticeable on 10–14 day trips, especially in peak summer from late July to August. You’ll usually see better per-day rates when you book at least 7–14 days in advance instead of same-week. Because it’s off-airport, you don’t pay the Gatwick forecourt drop-off charge for your own car at departure or arrival.

Tip: Add at least 45 minutes on top of your normal airport arrival time to cover parking check-in plus the 10–15 minute shuttle ride to North or South Terminal.
