Priority Pass gets you into My Lounge, but only from North

My Lounge sits in Gatwick South Terminal, but access is via the North Terminal side for Priority Pass holders and paid entry passengers, then across to South after security. It’s on the mezzanine with No1 and Club Aspire, but the entrance hides down a side corridor off the main balcony, so you need to follow signs past Club Aspire rather than stop at the first doorway you see.

The space is small compared with No1 Lounge next door, and regulars on FlyerTalk call that out when talking about Gatwick South options. Think more “quiet corner” than big lounge: once it’s full, staff often cap entry, and the footprint means it can’t soak up overflow when No1 or Aspire hit a waitlist during the morning peak around 06:00–09:00.

Opening hours run on a shorter schedule than other South Terminal lounges, with reports of it closed during very early departures before about 05:00 and later in the evening after around 20:00. Flyers in those threads explicitly say it’s not a solid backup if you’re on the first or last waves of easyJet departures, so check live hours in the app before you walk over from the North side.

Entry works on Priority Pass or paid walk-up when capacity allows; pricing usually sits in the same band as other Gatwick pay lounges, in the region of £30–£40 at the door depending on time and provider promos. Food and drink are self-serve basics rather than a full restaurant setup, so budget for buying a proper meal in the main terminal if you want more than simple snacks and soft drinks.

Regulars who know the mezzanine layout keep My Lounge in mind only as a second or third look: they try No1 first, then glance down the corridor toward My Lounge if No1 is turning people away. Several posters mention finding the door closed even in mid-morning, so they don’t walk over unless they have at least a 90‑minute buffer before departure to recover if they need to fall back to a public gate seat.

Watch out for the combo of small size and limited hours: both issues show up in complaints when people expect it to behave like a larger contract lounge. If you’re landing into North and connecting out of South, factor in about 45 minutes for the terminal transfer and another 5–10 minutes to find that side corridor so you’re not stressing about boarding times.

One practical tip: before heading toward security, open your lounge app and check that My Lounge South actually shows an “Open” status, then screenshot it and head straight to the mezzanine escalators by the main South departures retail zone to avoid wandering the balcony twice.
