260 PLN gets you into KRK’s main Schengen Business Lounge

This Business Lounge sits airside in Terminal 1, on level +1 between gates 9 and 10, and runs daily from 04:30 to 23:30. It’s the standard contract lounge for several airlines plus Priority Pass, with British Airways using it for eligible Club/Gold passengers. Think solid but plain: a place to sit, snack and drink before a Schengen flight, not a reason to reach the airport early.

Access works three ways: airline status (including BA), Priority Pass, or a paid day pass at 260 PLN. Check the departures board before you pay at the desk; FlyerTalk regulars mention that closing time can shift based on the last flights, so late-night departures sometimes find the door already shut even though 23:30 is the official time.

You reach the lounge after security in Terminal 1 by turning left and going up to level +1, roughly above gates 9–10, even though older mentions still point to the area around gates 2–3. That means a bit of a walk if you’re on BA or other Schengen flights leaving from higher-numbered gates like 18, so budget 5–10 minutes to get back for boarding.

Inside, the room is one level with an L-shaped seating layout around a central buffet, which makes it easy to see open chairs at a glance. Expect standard armchairs and tables rather than true workstations. Power outlets exist but are not at every seat, so charge your laptop or phone as soon as you sit down instead of waiting for a better spot.

Food lands in the “enough to make a meal” category: hot dishes, soups, and simple cold items are usually out across the central buffet. Coffee machines, soft drinks, and self-serve alcohol are available, with beer, wine, and basic spirits on offer. If you care about presentation or restaurant-level quality, eat something in the terminal and treat the lounge as a snack and drinks stop.

Facilities are barebones: standard restrooms only, with no showers reported by Live and Let’s Fly and FlyerTalk users. Wi‑Fi is free and unlimited; no one raves about speed, but also no horror stories of dropped VPN sessions. For actual work, bring noise-cancelling headphones, because busy departure banks can fill most of the room.

Regulars use this lounge tactically, often ducking in 30–40 minutes before boarding for a quick plate of food, a drink, and a bathroom stop rather than camping for hours. One practical move: grab a seat near the entrance side of the L-shaped layout so you can watch crowd levels and still slip out easily when your gate call appears.
