Na Hoku

Gate-side Na Hoku is one of the few real shops in KOA’s Main terminal

Na Hoku sits airside in KOA’s open-air Main terminal, past security and within a 3–5 minute walk of most gates. This is a traditional jewelry store, not a souvenir stand, so think higher-ticket pieces rather than $10 keychains. You’re looking at gold, coral, and Hawaiian-themed designs that often run from around $150 into the four-figure range.

Hours generally track KOA’s flight banks, with Na Hoku opening for the morning departures before 9:00 a.m. and closing after the last mainland flights clear in the evening, usually by 7:30–8:30 p.m. If you land on a late-night diversion or ultra-early charter, expect it to be shuttered. Since KOA is small, you won’t burn more than 10 minutes round-trip walking here from any Main terminal gate.

Inventory leans into local motifs: plumeria designs, honu (turtle) pendants, and Hawaiian heirloom bracelets, alongside standard gold and silver pieces. Prices reflect mall-level Na Hoku stores on Oʻahu, not airport markups, so a pair of small earrings might sit around $200, while statement necklaces push far higher. Staff can usually size rings or adjust chains on the spot if you have at least 20 minutes before boarding.

You won’t find snacks, electronics, or travel basics here, only jewelry and small gift-boxed items that fit easily in a carry-on. Bags come boxed and padded, and they’ll give you a receipt with clear return and repair info tied to other Na Hoku locations across Hawaiʻi and the mainland US. Tip: if you’re tempted, snap a photo of the piece and price, walk a lap past your gate, then commit only if you still want it 10 minutes later.
