Gate-side Whopper fix in T1

This Burger King sits airside in Terminal T1 at Kos “Ippokratis” Airport, so you hit it after security and passport control. It’s one of the few recognizable international fast-food names here, which matters if you’re flying out late and don’t want to gamble on something unfamiliar before a 3–4 hour flight.

Opening hours track the main departure banks, typically from early morning check‑in waves through the last evening flights in T1. Expect standard Burger King pricing at an airport premium: combo meals land roughly a couple of euros higher than in town, and bottled water and soft drinks also cost more than in central Kos.

Menu is the usual line-up: Whopper, Chicken Royale, fries, onion rings, plus kids’ options and basic breakfast items when early departures go out. Vegetarian choices are limited compared with city branches, so don’t count on more than a veggie burger or sides. Coffee and soft-serve ice cream fill the gap if you just want something small before boarding.

Seating sits right off the main T1 departures corridor, near other food spots, so it can feel cramped when multiple gates board at once. Lines spike right after security when package-holiday flights offload passengers, then thin out closer to boarding times. If you want a hot meal here, order as soon as you clear security, then carry it to your gate if the seats are packed.
