Gate-side burger stop in T1 before Schengen departures

Holy Burger sits airside in Terminal 1 at Santorini (JTR), after security and passport control for Schengen flights. It’s one of the few dedicated burger spots in the terminal, so lines can form during the morning and late-afternoon peaks when multiple Aegean and Sky Express departures stack up. Expect self-service counter ordering and basic seating that faces the gates, so you can keep an eye on boarding screens while you eat.

Menu focus is straightforward: beef burgers, chicken burgers, fries, and soft drinks, with pricing in the €10–€18 range for a burger plus side. Portions run larger than what you’ll get from the pastry kiosks in T1, and you’ll usually be in and out in under 25 minutes if you hit it outside the big bank of flights. Alcohol options are limited, so if you want a beer or wine with your food, check the nearby bar units in the same concourse.

Opening hours track the flight schedule, so Holy Burger typically runs from the first departures around 06:00 until the last evening waves close to 22:00 in high season. In shoulder months, expect shorter hours that mirror the day’s last flights on the departures board. There’s no separate kids’ menu, but staff will usually simplify toppings on request, and card payments in euros are standard.

Tip: If your gate is at the far end of T1, place your order, watch the screens above the counter, and start walking over as soon as your burger is bagged; it’s a 3–5 minute stroll to the outermost stands.
