Holy Burger

T1

Gate-side burger stop in T1

Right inside Terminal T1, Holy Burger sits past security as one of the few proper hot-food options at Santorini Airport. It’s a straightforward counter-service spot: burgers, fries, and soft drinks, plus the usual bottled water and coffee for a quick grab before boarding. Expect higher airport pricing than Fira or Oia, but still in line with other food stands in JTR T1.

Holy Burger keeps airport hours, generally opening early enough for the morning departures out of T1 and staying open through the late-evening seasonal flights. Menu focus is classic beef burgers, with chicken and sometimes veggie options rotating on and off depending on the day and season. Portions tend to skew more to “snack before a short-haul flight” than “full sit-down meal,” so plan on one burger plus fries if you want to land actually full.

Seating is limited to a small cluster of tables and stools within T1, close enough to the gates that you can watch boarding zones forming while you eat. Service runs at typical Greek island pace, so assume 15–20 minutes from order to first bite during peak summer waves when multiple flights to Athens and Europe banks depart close together. If your boarding pass shows an early bus gate call, order to-go and eat closer to your gate door.

Payment is standard for JTR T1: expect contactless cards and major credit cards accepted, plus euros if you still have cash left from your stay on Santorini. Drinks are the usual 0.5L water bottles and canned sodas sized for take-on baggage checks. Practical move: hit the restroom in T1 before you order at Holy Burger, so you’re not juggling a tray and a last-minute bathroom run when your gate starts boarding.
