Airport Limousine 6707A

Bus

Bus 70-100 min (ICN–Gangnam hotel areas) $14-16

70–100 minutes from ICN to Gangnam hotel lobbies, seat to curb

Airport Limousine 6707A runs from ICN T1 and T2 straight to big Gangnam hotels along the south side of the Han. Daytime trips run about 70–100 minutes depending on traffic and where your hotel sits on the loop. The trade: slower than AREX + Line 9, but you roll your suitcase once, sit down, and get dropped at the door.

Single tickets cost about $14–16 per person, paid at the official limousine counters in T1/T2 arrival halls or at the outdoor kiosks by the bus bays. Buses typically run every 20–30 minutes in the day, less frequent very late at night. Keep small bills or a card ready; standing in line to sort payment can mean watching “your” bus pull out.

The 6707A stops at a specific set of Gangnam hotels, and the “A” pattern differs from 6707 or 6707B. Before you buy, match your hotel name on the printed route board at the counter or show the clerk your reservation. Regulars often use a hotel-printed card with 6707A stop details in Korean so the staff can confirm the exact stop and direction on the spot.

On board, the coach-style seats recline and usually have decent legroom; mid-bus seats ride smoother than the very front or back, which some riders call bumpier on older buses. If you plan to work on a laptop for an hour, grab something between rows 4–9 instead of the first or last row. Overhead racks handle typical carry-ons; big suitcases go in the underfloor hold at boarding.

Watch out for Gangnam rush hours around 07:30–09:30 and 17:00–19:30, when the 70-minute timetable can stretch closer to 100 and the final hotel loop drags. Some business travelers avoid those windows by taking AREX to Seoul Station then a taxi to Gangnam, saving 20–30 minutes. Also expect the bus to leave a few minutes off the posted time if the driver is finishing ticket checks.

Interiors vary: a few reviews mention older 6707A coaches with tired upholstery on certain runs, mixed in with newer buses. If you care, avoid the very first departure of the morning when older stock sometimes appears. Many frequent visitors buy a discounted round-trip limousine ticket at ICN and stash the return stub in their passport for departure day.

One tip: at T1 and T2, take a photo of the bus stop number, route board, and first/last bus times before you board. That snapshot makes it much easier to ask your hotel concierge to line up the correct 6707A back to ICN on your way out.
