Accessible Parking

Specialty

Accessible parking in every HNL garage for valid placards

Drivers with a valid disability placard can use marked accessible spaces in all Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) parking structures and lots, with a posted daily rate of $24. These specialty ADA spots sit next to standard stalls, but they give you priority placement, extra space for loading, and ramps to the nearest walkway.

From any garage near Terminal 1, 2, or 3, you’re looking at roughly a 5‑minute walk from the accessible spaces to the terminal doors. These locations sit next to the terminal buildings, so you avoid shuttle waits and lifts altogether, which matters if you’re moving a wheelchair, walker, or medical gear.

In the International Parking Garage, accessible spaces sit on the ground level only, close to pedestrian exits and curbside. If you’re dropping someone who can’t manage long ramps or elevators, pick this garage and stay on Level 1; don’t drive up looking for “better” stalls higher up.

In the Terminal 2 Parking Garage, accessible stalls are at each end of each floor plus on the ground level. If mobility is limited, aim for the ground floor; if you need a specific airline check‑in area, use the end closest to that terminal section to cut the walk down.

In the Terminal 1 Parking Garage, accessible spaces sit near the elevators on every floor, both in the center and at each end of the structure. If you’re dropping off at Hawaiian’s primary check‑in in T1, park near the central elevator core so you come out close to the main lobby instead of a side curb.

Practical tip: keep your disability placard hanging and visible before you pull into the garage; if it’s in your bag, you’ll slow the line at the entrance gate while you dig it out.
