It sits post-security in T1, so this only works if you’re on a domestic JAL or partner flight using that terminal. Rating hovers around 3/5, which tracks: decent comfort food, not a destination meal.

The chicken here tastes “close enough to the US version,” according to one Google Maps review from a frequent flyer chasing that Louisiana-style crunch. Expect standard Popeyes items: bone-in fried chicken, tenders, fries, and soft drinks. Portions are smaller than a typical US outlet, but still fine for a quick pre-flight bite under ¥1,200 if you keep it simple.

Lines spike in the early evening domestic bank, roughly 17:00–19:00, when T1 fills with commuters heading to Sapporo, Fukuoka, and Osaka. Seating is limited to a small area of counter and closely packed tables for maybe 20–25 people. More than one review mentions the space getting messy when busy, so don’t count on a calm sit-down meal at peak times.

If you want the safest order, stick to a two-piece chicken set with fries and a drink around the ¥900–¥1,100 mark. Freshly fried batches are noticeably better, so it’s worth waiting an extra 5 minutes if they’re dropping new chicken. Fries can go limp under the heat lamps, and sides are weaker than what you might know from US outlets, so focus on the chicken itself.
