Only airside Starbucks in T4 once you clear immigration

In Hangzhou Xiaoshan’s T4, this Starbucks sits about 95 meters west of the Immigration Inspection point in the international departures restricted area, so you hit it after both security and passport control. It runs roughly 06:30–22:00, which covers the bulk of morning and late‑evening flights out of T4.

Because it’s the one Starbucks listed airside in T4’s official directory for international departures, lines can spike right after a bank of departures opens for boarding. Expect standard China Starbucks pricing, so a tall latte lands well above street level coffee shops in Hangzhou, but in line with other big airports in the region.

Menu is the usual Starbucks China mix: espresso drinks, brewed coffee, Frappuccino‑style blends, and a pastry case with sandwiches and sweet snacks. If you care about timing, factor in 5–10 minutes for a basic Americano and longer for more complicated cold drinks during the 07:00–09:00 wave of departures. Seating is limited in most T4 international gate areas, so assume you’ll be carrying your drink back to your gate.

There’s a second Starbucks in T4’s domestic arrivals non‑restricted area, useful if you’re meeting someone landside or waiting for a ride after a domestic sector into Hangzhou. That one is pre‑security, in the public zone, so it does not help if you’re already checked in and headed out on an international flight from T4.

Watch out for: the 22:00 closing time. Several late‑night international flights push toward midnight, and crews report the shutters come down on schedule, not based on last outbound. Don’t bank on grabbing a coffee at 22:15 before a 23:30 departure.

Practical tip: clear immigration first, then stop here once you’re actually airside; at that point you’re about 5–7 minutes’ walk from many T4 international gates with coffee in hand.
