P2 Car Park sits about 50 meters from Hamburg Helmut Schmidt Airport Terminal 1, so you’re at the check-in desks in roughly a 1‑minute walk. It’s a short-stay option, aimed at trips of a few days rather than long holidays. If you’re dropping a family off in T1 or flying out yourself with heavy luggage, the short walk is the main selling point.

Pricing is straightforward: around €35.00 per day and €245.00 for a full week at P2. That puts it at the higher end of on-airport parking at HAM, but you’re paying for proximity to T1 over shuttle time or off-airport hassle. For quick business trips of 1–3 days, the math usually beats a taxi both ways, especially if you’re coming from within Hamburg.

P2 is inside the main airport road loop serving T1 and T2, but functionally it lines up best with Terminal 1. If you’re flying from T2, add a couple of extra minutes to walk across the terminal complex. There’s no shuttle, just a straightforward sidewalk walk from P2 to the check-in level and back to the car on return.

Use P2 as short-stay parking, not long-term storage. At €245.00 for 7 days, a 2‑week trip quickly jumps past €490, where off-airport lots start to make more sense.
