P1 Car Park sits about 150 meters in front of Terminal 1 at Hamburg Helmut Schmidt Airport, so the walk to the check-in desks runs around 2 minutes on foot. It’s officially labelled as a short-stay option, so it suits drop-offs, quick business trips, and weekend flights more than long holidays.

Daily pricing lands at roughly €30.00, which adds up quickly if you leave the car for a full week. For seven days, the posted rate is €210.00, so P1 is at the premium end of Hamburg’s parking. You’re paying for the short 2-minute walk and the ability to head straight into T1 without waiting for a shuttle.

P1 mainly targets passengers using T1, but T2 is also within walking distance through the covered forecourt area of the terminal complex. If your flight leaves from T2, budget an extra few minutes on top of the 2-minute T1 walk, especially at busy times when the forecourt can be slow to cross with luggage.

Because P1 is a short-stay car park at the front of T1, it usually fills first on busy Monday mornings and Sunday evenings. The posted rate of €30.00 per day means it rarely makes sense for trips longer than 3–4 days when compared with more remote weekly options at Hamburg Helmut Schmidt Airport.
