Good Buy Café

T1

Just past security in T1, Good Buy Café is your quick coffee-and-snack stop.

This small counter-service spot sits airside in Terminal T1, a few minutes’ walk from most Schengen gates. It runs through the main flight banks, typically opening early morning around 05:00 and staying open into the evening rush, so you can grab something before a 06:30 departure or on a 19:00 hop to Paris or London.

Menu is standard Swiss-airport café: espresso, cappuccino, soft drinks, bottled water, and pre-made sandwiches. Expect prices in the CHF 6–7 range for coffee and CHF 8–12 for a basic baguette or wrap. Pastries and chocolate bars sit by the till, useful if you just want a quick croissant or a Toblerone before boarding.

Seating is limited to a handful of stools and nearby shared tables in the T1 concourse, so plan on a grab-and-go stop rather than a sit-down meal. Service is counter-only, and at peak times around the 07:00–09:00 and 17:00–19:00 banks, lines can be 5–10 people deep but usually move in under 5 minutes.

Food is simple cold options from the fridge: ham-and-cheese, tuna, vegetarian sandwiches, and packaged salads, all with clear Swiss/Euro price tags. If you want anything hot or a full plate, you’re better off walking a few gates further in T1 to one of the larger cafés or restaurants that list hot dishes and burgers on overhead boards.

Card payment is standard here, with contactless accepted for small tabs under CHF 30, and most travelers tap through in under a minute. If you only have EUR, they usually accept them but give change in CHF. One last tip: grab your water and snacks at Good Buy Café right after security in T1 so you don’t have to double back from a far Schengen gate like A10 or B31.
