Island Jewelry

Near the Main Terminal gates at GUM, Island Jewelry is the spot if you forgot a gift or want something that actually says “Guam” on it. You’ll see it post-security in the Main concourse, mixed in with the duty-free and souvenir shops. Stock leans heavily toward island-themed pieces: shell necklaces, Guam map pendants, hibiscus designs, and bracelets that read “Guam” or “Marianas.” Prices run from roughly $10–$20 for small trinkets up to higher double digits for more intricate items.

Hours generally track Main Terminal departures, so Island Jewelry tends to open several hours before the first outbound bank and stays open late for evening flights. That works if your United or Jeju Air flight out of GUM shifts and you suddenly have time to kill near the Main gate cluster. Quality is mixed: some items feel more like souvenirs than fine jewelry, so treat anything under $25 as costume and check clasps and chains before you walk off to boarding.

No standout “signature” piece shows up in reviews, but Island Jewelry is solid for last-minute Guam-themed earrings, charms, and keychains under $15. If you’re used to mainland mall jewelers, don’t expect the same metal stamps or gemstone paperwork here; this is more airport gift shop than boutique. Quick tip: snap a photo of the display tag and receipt as soon as you buy, in case a bracelet or clasp fails after you’ve already left GUM.
