04:30–13:00 only, between gates 10 and 11

This United Club in the Main Terminal runs on island time: doors open at 04:30 and shut at 13:00, so it mainly covers the morning United and Star Alliance departures out of Guam. It sits on the concourse level between gates 10 and 11, just a short walk from most United operations at GUM.

The space feels like a small outstation club, closer to what you’d see at HNL than at a big hub like SFO. Regulars describe it as a "throwback" room with a snack-only setup and basic seating rather than a full-scale flagship. It reopened on 13 February 2023 with these temporary morning-only hours, and nothing here resembles a Polaris lounge.

Access follows standard United rules: United Club members, Star Alliance Gold flying same-day on a Star carrier, and eligible premium-cabin passengers get in. If you’re Star Gold on ANA or another partner, this is your Star Alliance option at GUM. Everyone else is back to the gate area, which can get crowded around that morning bank of flights.

Food is simple: think light breakfast snacks to tide you over for 20–30 minutes rather than a full meal before a transpacific leg. Expect packaged items and small bites more in line with a Honolulu-style outstation, not hot dishes and made-to-order options. Drinks usually cover the basics with coffee, tea, juices, and standard self-serve soft drinks during the early hours.

There are downsides. Flyers complain about the lack of showers, which stings if you just came off a longer Micronesia segment or are heading onward on another multi-hour hop. The limited schedule also leaves afternoon and evening departures out of luck, so a 17:00 or 23:00 flight from GUM means no club access at all after 13:00.

Regulars tend to treat this club as a quick stop: grab a coffee or juice, hop on the Wi‑Fi for emails, then head to the gate 10–15 minutes before boarding to avoid the crush when the room fills during the morning departures. If your connection is under 35 minutes, many Guam-based elites skip the club altogether and walk straight to the next gate instead.

Practical tip: if you want a short pre-flight pause and your flight leaves after 09:00, plan to be in the club by 11:45; once it closes at 13:00 between gates 10 and 11, you’re back to terminal seating only.
