Terminal 2 Valet Parking sits right by the departures doors

GRU’s Valet Parking operates directly in front of Terminal 2, so drop-off is a 1–2 minute walk from the main check-in hall. You pull up, hand over the keys, and staff park the car in the attached garage area while you head to security. This is post-entry airport property parking, not an outside lot with shuttles, so there’s no van ride or extra transfer time to factor in.

Service usually runs 24 hours a day, matching São Paulo–Guarulhos’ round-the-clock departures. That matters on the late LATAM and Gol bank leaving after 22:00, and for early international flights from Terminal 3 around 6:00. You still drop the car at Terminal 2, then walk 8–12 minutes indoors to Terminals 1 or 3 using the signed corridor. Build a little buffer if you’re checking bags for a long-haul.

Rates are in the premium tier compared with standard GRU parking, with daily pricing higher than the regular garage a few levels above. You pay in Brazilian reais at the valet desk or automated cashier on return, and tickets are scanned to bring the car back to the front of Terminal 2. Short stays of under 3 hours cost less than a calendar day, so this can make sense for a same-day drop‑off and pickup around a quick shuttle run or airport meeting.

Because this is true valet, staff keep your keys and move cars between levels of the Terminal 2 structure. Expect a 5–15 minute wait for the car to come back during the evening bank between 18:00 and 21:00, when GRU gets busy. The claim stub has a phone or WhatsApp number, so you can call ahead from baggage claim to start the retrieval before you reach the curb.

Tip: flying out of Terminal 3 on a heavy day (June–July or December–January), aim to hand over the car at Valet Parking at least 2 hours before an international departure and use the covered walkway from Terminal 2 to avoid the heat and rain.
