Parking International

Short-stay

First 30 minutes at Parking International are priced for quick stops

Parking International at São Paulo–Guarulhos (GRU) sits directly in the international area, making it the short-stay option when you are dropping off or collecting passengers from Terminals 2 and 3. It is set up for hours rather than days, so think same‑day meetings, pick‑ups, or walking someone in to check‑in for an international flight.

This lot is signed on airport roads as “Estacionamento Internacional” and feeds the departures and arrivals levels used by long‑haul airlines in T2 and T3. You can walk from the car park to the terminal doors in roughly 3–6 minutes, depending on where you find a bay, which is the main advantage over the cheaper remote areas at GRU.

Pricing runs on an hourly scale, with a premium on the first 1–3 hours compared with the long‑term areas, so Parking International makes the most sense for visits under 24 hours. If you are planning to leave the car for more than a day, the daily cap in the economy or extended‑stay car parks around GRU usually works out cheaper than stacking multiple short‑stay hours here.

Access is fully automated: you pull a ticket at the barrier, pay at the cash or card machines before returning to your car, then feed the validated ticket into the exit gate. Machines accept Brazilian cards and cash in reais; allow a couple of extra minutes in case there is a queue at the payment kiosks during the evening bank of international departures.

One practical tip: if you are picking someone up from an international arrival in Terminal 3, drive to Parking International, park on the level closest to the arrivals bridge, and text them your bay number so they can spot your car quickly after customs.
