GS25

Gate-side GS25 beats vending machines by a mile

GS25 at Gimpo International shows up all over the terminals, both Domestic and International, so you’re rarely more than a couple of minutes’ walk from one. Think of it as your pre-flight reset: drinks, snacks, hot food, basics, all at normal Korean convenience store pricing instead of airport-gouge levels.

You’ll see triangle kimbap around ₩1,200–₩1,500, cup ramen in the ₩1,500–₩2,000 range, and canned coffee or soft drinks starting under ₩2,000. Compared with a sit-down airport restaurant running ₩12,000+ per dish, this is the cheapest way to eat inside GMP once you’re airside.

Most GS25 branches inside GMP keep hours roughly synced to flight banks, often opening around 06:00 and running late into the evening, so early morning and late-night departures still have options. Since locations sit post-security in both the Domestic and International sides, you can top up after screening instead of hauling snacks from the city.

Hot items vary by case but usually include microwavable dosirak lunchboxes in the ₩4,000–₩6,000 range, corn dogs, odeng (fish cake skewers), and quick-heat burgers. Grab your ramen from the shelf and use the in-store hot water dispenser so you’re not trying to find boiling water at the gate 10 minutes before boarding.

Most GS25s at Gimpo also stock basics like phone chargers, prepaid SIMs, umbrellas, and small toiletry packs under ₩10,000, which can save a trip back landside. Card and contactless payments are standard, and foreign cards usually run fine. One practical move: grab drinks and snacks here before heading to remote gates, where your only backup might be a single machine with warm water and instant coffee.
