Books Libro

Gate-side Korean reads and snacks at Books Libro

Right in Gimpo’s International terminal concourse, Books Libro doubles as a bookshop and mini convenience store, handy if you’ve already cleared security and have 20–30 minutes to spare. You’ll see Korean titles first, but there’s usually a rack of English and Japanese magazines near the entrance plus some travel guides on Seoul and Busan.

Most paperbacks sit in the ₩10,000–₩18,000 range, with higher-end art or photography books pushing past ₩30,000. Expect mainly current K‑fiction, K‑drama tie‑ins, language-learning workbooks, and kids’ picture books. If you just want something for the flight, the staff often keeps a few bestseller paperbacks and compact puzzle books close to the cashier for quick grabs.

Along one wall you’ll find basic travel gear: neck pillows around ₩15,000, simple eye masks under ₩8,000, and compact phone chargers in the ₩20,000 range. There’s also a small stationery section with pens, notebooks, and memo pads, plus character-themed items that skew toward Line Friends and similar Korean IP, usually priced under ₩10,000.

Snacks and drinks sit by the back coolers, with canned coffee and tea for roughly ₩2,000–₩3,000 and standard Korean chips and cookies under ₩4,000. Card payments are fine, and most counters in the International terminal accept foreign credit cards without an issue. One tip: if your gate is at the far end of International, stop here first; shops thin out near the last 3–4 gates and your only other option may be a vending machine.
