CU

Gate-side snacks at CU beat another sit-down detour

CU runs multiple branches across Gimpo International and Domestic terminals, so you’re rarely more than a 2–3 minute walk from one. This is the familiar green-and-purple Korean convenience store, not an airport-only spin-off, so prices track closely with in‑city CU locations.

Shops typically open early, around 06:00, and many stay open until late evening flight banks taper off after 21:00. That makes CU an easy grab on the way to late Domestic departures or early International hops when other food options are still closed or already winding down.

Expect standard CU pricing: bottled water and canned drinks usually run in the ₩1,000–₩2,000 range, with kimbap, onigiri, and simple sandwiches generally in the ₩2,000–₩4,000 band. Pre-packed dosirak lunch boxes and cup ramyeon sit a bit higher but still land under typical airside restaurant meals by several thousand won.

For something quick before boarding, the safer bets are kimbap rolls, triangle gimbap on the refrigerated shelves, and cup ramyeon you can hydrate with the in‑store hot water dispensers. Fresh drip-style canned coffee and yogurt drinks work as a backup breakfast when your hotel checkout ran late and boarding starts in 20 minutes.

Stock swings a bit by branch and time of day; late-night International terminal stores can run low on hot items and sandwiches. If you care about specific snacks or drinks, grab them when you first see a CU rather than waiting for the one nearest your gate.

Tip: Pick up any 100 ml toiletries or travel-size toothpaste you forgot here airside; it’s usually cheaper than the duty-free beauty shops by at least a few thousand won per item.
