Priority Pass lists only one lounge at GDN T2
At Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport Terminal 2, most flyers only ever see one common lounge mentioned: the Executive Lounge in the Schengen area, used by Priority Pass and several airlines. The airport also references a “VIP Lounge,” but there’s no clear proof it’s a separate public space with its own entrance, staff, or layout. Assume you’ll be sent to the same shared lounge product in T2, just under different names depending on your airline or booking channel.
The VIP Lounge label usually appears on airline invitations for select business and status passengers departing from T2, which handles most scheduled flights including Schengen traffic. If your invite just says “VIP Lounge, Terminal 2,” follow signs to the Executive Lounge after security rather than hunting for a secret door. Gdańsk isn’t big: walking from central security in T2 to the lounge area typically takes under 5 minutes at a normal pace.
Hours at the Executive Lounge in T2 generally track the main morning and evening banks, with opening around the first departures wave before 05:00–06:00 and closing around the last flights later in the evening. Exact times shift with the schedule, so check your airline app or the airport site on the day. If you land on a late Wizz or Ryanair arrival around 23:00, don’t count on the lounge still being open, even if your status technically gives you access.
Pricing is fuzzy, because walk-up paid entry is marketed under the Executive Lounge brand rather than “VIP Lounge,” often around the €25–€35 mark via online booking portals. Airline invitations into the so-called VIP Lounge in T2 usually cover the entry fee, snacks, and basic drinks. If you’re paying cash, compare that cost to grabbing a 25–30 PLN coffee and snack in the terminal, especially on short 40–60 minute waits.
With no clear separation in reviews between VIP and Executive branding, treat all feedback about the GDN Executive Lounge in Terminal 2 as relevant: same seating, same self-serve buffet, same drink choices. Telecom tip: Gdańsk Airport Wi‑Fi in T2 is free and reasonably quick, so using lounge Wi‑Fi doesn’t change much. One practical move: if your airline invitation just says “VIP Lounge, T2” and you’re confused, ask at the nearest info desk and then head straight for signs pointing to “Executive Lounge” after security.
